We will finalize needs for rides at practice today / Wednesday to be certain that all athletes have transportation and accommodations if needed.

We are planning to enter all athletes who have indicated that they can attend the Centerville Saturday Night Lights Meet (preliminary entries below). The vast majority of respondents were also able to provide their own transportation with parents.

The race schedule will also be such that most of our athletes will finish competing with ample time to travel home after their races, if desired. Only the varsity racers will finish late in the evening. And depending on our race assignments they may all be finished by 9:30pm

We have found that in order to get a block of hotel rooms we have to guarantee a certain number of rooms, which we aren’t able to do. So, if families want to stay overnight we are going to encourage families to find their own accommodations. There are ample hotels in the I-75 corridor between Dayton and Cincinnati within 20 minutes of Centerville.

For athletes that are able to compete, who need a ride, the coaches will ensure that their ride is accounted for and, if needed, they have a place to stay overnight.
