Morning Practice @ Eastern (revised to morning for heat)

Meet at the Track. Be prepared to start practicing at 6:30am, dressed and ready.

Morning showers. There is a men’s and women’s locker room with shower access. The showers are “open” with no stalls or curtains. Athletes will need to operate quickly to get cleaned up. Again, if an athlete is uncomfortable in that situation, we understand, and they can plan to train on their own or shower with running attire on.

Athletes should bring some breakfast food that they can eat quickly to recover after our morning sessions.

This is not ideal, but our delayed start time gives us an extra hour to train in the mornings. Great athletes and great teams will manage a week like this better than average athletes and average teams. Let’s pursue being great even in the face of difficulty!

All athletes must submit required paperwork and fees before starting practice. If your physical expires during the season you should submit the new physical before attending practice.

Athletes should bring water and a towel every day for practice. I would also recommend an extra dry shirt on humid days.

Students should make plans to be picked up at the end of practice or make plans to go home with a teammate or meet their rides off campus.
