Garmin makes the very best running watches (and other wearables) for serious runners.

Garmin is offering Eastern track and cross country runners and their families (along with Eastern staff) a huge discount on many of their running wearables from Garmin.com.

Anyone who asks my advice about running watches gets the same advice, the Garmin Forerunner series are the best watches for serious runners. The series includes entry level watches (45/55) all the way up to high-end. The watches all include buttons (not touch screens that struggle in wet/sweaty conditions), GPS functions, wrist-based heart rate monitors, and smart-watch functionality.
