Kentucky Kingdom Details for Thursday

Reminder, this is not an official Eastern Field Trip, just a chance for our athletes to go to Kentucky Kingdom together after practice.

After our Thursday morning practice are hoping we will (should confirm today) we will have a chance to get cleaned up at the Tom Sawyer Locker Rooms before leaving to Kentucky Kingdom.

Each athlete will be responsible for their own park admission, food, drinks, etc. All athletes need to arrange their own ride home.

The park opens at 11am and closes at 7pm. Athletes that are under 16 must enter and exit with an adult chaperone (note chaperones are not expected or required to stay with the athletes). Athletes with chaperones will need to coordinate and communicate their exit times togehter.

According to our feedback forms we have a parent of Leah Hall, Maggie Jewell, Nate Powers, and Caleb Rock planning to attend along with several of our coaches. The boosters will cover the admission for our parent / coach chaperones.

Athletes may drive themselves and/or siblings but cannot drive any other athletes.

We will finish at practice, get cleaned up, and try to leave Tom Sawyer by 10:20am. Once we get to Kentucky Kingdom we will gather in the area in front of the park to arrange our chaperones and younger athletes to head into the park together.
