All athletes not entered in the Rumble Through the Jungle will race on Wednesday at Tom Sawyer Park against Manual, Male, and Fern Creek.

The race will be a 3k on the BMX loop at Tom Sawyer.

4:00 Boys Section limited #s
4:20ish Girls Section limited #s
5:00ish co-ed section

Athletes should arrive by 3:15 in the BMX parking lot.

Thanks to those who have asked questions about today’s meet, I apologize for not getting out more details earlier.
The meet will be starting near the BMX course. There is parking near there. Do not park in the grass!! If you are coming from Westport Road it is the second entrance to the park.
No uniforms are required today. We are expecting to receive all of the newly ordered uniforms later this week, but will not have them for today.
The meet will include less than 120 total runners from four school (Eastern, Manual, Male, and Fern Creek). There will be 3 races that must include 40 or fewer runners each.
Athletes should arrive about 1 hour before your race. We will still follow our normal check in procedures as well as masking and social distancing when we aren’t racing or warming up. There will be no team tent or tarp that would unnecessarily draw us closely together. Definitely bring a towel, water, and mask.
There are no specific procedures for spectators but we ask that non-participating athletes do not attend (I am sad to say). Parents should wear masks and practice social distancing. I would encourage parents to stay relatively clear of any “team space” we set up.
